Pantone colors have had a large impact on the fashion industry. Pantone has been influencing multiple industries for years. Fashion, product development, industrial design, packaging, and graphic design. By careful research and trend analysis Pantone every year for the past 20 years has come up with the color of the year. This year's color of the year is Living Coral. A lively and energetic color normally found under the ocean.

Pantone also gives us the fall/winter 2019/20 colors. They consist of 16 colors, 4 of them are the seasons' core shades. The other 12 shades for the fall/winter season are stand-out colors. "Colors for the autumn/winter 2019/2020 reflect an emergence of confidence; bold and strong, a visceral palette of colors that are relateable yet display some clever tweaks for the winter season," Pantone stated.
