If you’re like me, you probably wish you had unlimited closet space. Sadly, I don’t, which means that cleaning out my closet in between seasons is a must! This weekend my project is turning my summer closet to my fall closet. To start off this large, time consuming project I have to slim down my summer clothes. I go through my closet, try on all of my garments, and get rid of the ones I didn’t wear or have gone out of style. I then fold all of the warm-weather items that I want to keep into a separate storage bins and store it in my basement. The next step is to try on all of my fall clothing. I haven’t worn this clothing in about a year or so, so there are definitely garments that I don’t want or like anymore. Once I have gone through all of my cold-weather garments, and have set aside the ones I no longer want or don’t fit (hopefully too big😉). I organize them in my closet by style and color. Not only will you feel refreshed and orderly but you will also get a rewarding feeling once you donate all of your discarded clothing!
Having gone through this process three to four times a year, for as long as I can remember, I understand how tedious it seems. That’s why at Azure we provide closet clean out services. Check them out below!
The pictures below are from this past weekend when I went through my closet and followed my exact procedure above!
